    Our volunteers are at the heart of everything we do. With more than 90 dedicated volunteers, Osmondthorpe is supported by people from all walks of life who generously give their time, skills, and experience to serve the community. Their commitment helps us run the mosque, organise events, support local families, and deliver many of the services that benefit our congregation every day.

    Volunteering is a wonderful opportunity to give back to your community while earning the rewards of Sadaqah. Whether you’re helping at events, supporting community projects, assisting with welfare initiatives, or working behind the scenes, every contribution makes a real difference.

    We’re always happy to hear from people who would like to get involved. Ideally, our volunteers are:

    • Reliable and committed

    • Able to give their time on a regular basis

    • Willing to complete a DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) check if the role requires one

    • Available to help when needed

    As we receive a large number of volunteer enquiries, we’re unfortunately unable to accept every application. We kindly ask that you apply only if you’re able to make a genuine commitment to volunteering.

      • IT Support – Osmondthorpe media productions and Live streaming events, Networking Administration, Website management
      • Graphic design & Videography – Flyer design, social media management
      • Teaching and Admin Assistants for Madrasah / Islamic studies
      • Ramadan / Eid visitor services
      • Events support – as required
      • Female Stewards for ladies’ prayer halls and events
      • General maintenance
      • Car park duties
      • Male/Female Ghusl
